Produktmerkmale und Montage

Der Lieferumfang umfasst einen Tankring sowie einen Gegenhalter, der abhängig von der Tankform und dem Lenkereinschlag am Tankrucksack montiert wird. Der Tankdeckel bleibt auch bei angebrachtem Tankring voll zugänglich, was die Handhabung vereinfacht.

  • Der Tankring gewährleistet auch bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten einen stabilen Halt.
  • Die Befestigung des Tankrucksacks erfolgt durch eine mechanische Verriegelung, die ein deutlich hörbares Einrasten signalisiert.
  • Die Entriegelung wird durch einen Gurt am vorderen Bereich des Tankrucksacks in Fahrtrichtung betätigt, wodurch der Rucksack leicht zu entfernen ist.
  • In Deutschland ist für Tankrucksacksysteme keine allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis (ABE) oder eine Eintragung in die Fahrzeugpapiere notwendig.

Besonderheiten des Basic Tankrings

Der Basic Tankring funktioniert rein mechanisch im Gegensatz zum Lock-it Tankring, der zusätzlich Magnete zur Zentrierung nutzt. Beide Tankringvarianten verwenden denselben modellspezifischen Metallring, unterscheiden sich jedoch in den aufgeschraubten Komponenten.

Es ist wichtig zu beachten, dass ein Tankrucksack mit Lock-it Gegenhalter nicht auf einem Basic Tankring montiert werden kann und umgekehrt. Beide Systemteile müssen kompatibel sein.
