Gracie Pwerle Morton was born in Utopia, Northern Territory, around 1956. She is one of the senior traditional custodians for both the Altyerre (Dreaming) and the vast expanse of a related country, some 263 km north of Alice Springs. By traditional law, the responsibility for the Bush Plum Dreaming has been passed down to Gracie from her father and her aunt, who are responsible for ensuring that she perseveres its traditions.

Gracie Pwerle Morton's career began in the 1970s with the Utopia Women's Batik Group and on canvas in the late 1980s. Her work has been well-received in galleries throughout Australia and around the world. Gracie works with great strength and dynamism of the Utopian women artists that continue across the generations. Gracie's delicate dotting and colour variation use an aerial perspective to portray the seasonal changes of the Arnwekety - the Bush Plum, a plant of great significance to the women of Gracie's traditional country, Mosquito Bore.

Gracie Morton's style of painting is distinctively minimalist and she uses a very delicate dotting technique and traditional colours. Her signature theme is the "bush plum" stories known to the Alyawarre as Arnwekety.
The delightfully subtle paintings of the Arnwekety - the Bush Plum- depict the changing seasonal influences on a plant that is of great significance to the Alyawarre women of the Eastern Desert region of the Northern Territory. The incredible finesse of Gracie's style creates a wonderful lyricism in her works, causing a three-dimensionality that pulls at the eye, guiding the viewer through the soft, outward-reaching fields of colour while simultaneously transfixing one in its undulations.

The Bush Plum is a highly nutritious small fruit with black seeds, rich in vitamin C, that can be eaten raw or cooked. Growing in a great profusion of flowers and fruit throughout the winter months, the women, accompanied by the children, collect the Bush Plums while reconfirming their connection to the land at the same time. The flourish of colour that distinguishes the Bush Plum after the fall of rain, is quickly transformed with the long hot summer months. Dried and separated, the seed and husk are scattered over the vast sun-baked landscape by the hot summer wind.

Great product. Love that the water drains into the sink. Not all over my sink back.

Pretty good size, and storage but it moves a little.
Color: Black, Size: 7.9" x 3.7" x 6.2"
I ordered this in black, and it holds a large bottle of hand soap, my dish wand, and two other sponges/scrubbers. It really does drain into the sink, but you have to be careful to place it on the edge of the sink, or the water will drip onto the counter. Also, it's very light, so if you only have a few items in it, it's likely to move or fall when you reach for a sponge. Since we put a solid bottle of hand soap in there, it is much more stable, even when I'm using the pump dispenser. I can't tell if it's rustproof for long-term use, but so far it's functional after adding something to weigh it down. I like it much better than the flat sponge caddy we had before, and the quality seems good. I would like it to be more stable, but otherwise it's useful

Compact, Versatile, and No Rust So Far
Color: Black, Size: 7.9" x 3.7" x 6.2", Color: Black, Size: 7.9" x 3.7" x 6.2"
I looked around quite a bit before buying this because a lot of sellers offer the same or very similar design. I even saw versions with a dedicated spot for a Scrub Daddy, but I didn’t feel like paying extra for that. I went with this one hoping it would still work for my setup, and it absolutely does. I’m limited on counter space, and this doesn’t take up much room at all. The removable brush holder cup is a big plus, I removed it and use that space for my Sponge Daddy, which fits perfectly. It also fits my hand soap and dish soap bottles without any issues, and I use the brush holder section to hold clean utensils. I’ve been using this for almost two months now and wash dishes constantly, so there’s pretty much always some water dripping from the sponge while it dries. So far, there’s been no rusting and no color chipping, which was something I was concerned about. Overall, it works perfectly for my needs and feels well made.

Design Is Great. Material Was A Very Poor Choice.
Color: Black, Size: 7.9" x 3.7" x 6.2"
The gauge of the wire used is pretty thin. There is no real weight to this item. It does do exactly what I need it to do as it allows me to dry my dish cleaning brushes and my Dawn Puff brush in an organized manner. The taller basket is nice especially for my long handled brushes. It would actually be nice if there was a second basket since I have more handled brushes than anything else. I am also really happy that I went with this design where the drain pan is the entire length rather than a little spout where all the drainage is focused. The full length lines up better to usage of each individual brush. Due to its materials, I don't have much confidence in this being around long. So far, the black coating has held up and no r*sting (do not want to jinx myself) has occurred, but if and when it does, I fully expect the metal to fold like a house of cards. The design is actually great. The materials are its Achielles' Heel.
