With Fender's American-made American Professional Classic series, we're introduced to a number of established Fender specifications that get fresh, new interpretations. The American Professional Classic Telecaster launches with an iconic, single-cutaway alder body. Wrapped in a high-gloss finish and a faded burst color, this American Professional Classic entry embodies a classic Fender aesthetic with an inspiring, new look.
From here, this model introduces a satin-finished maple neck in a Modern "C" profile. This Modern "C" neck falls into a familiar, modern Fender feel as it fills the playing hand similarly to recent Fender American series releases. This neck matches with a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets that balance spaciousness and precision. The fingerboard's 9.5" radius makes for a flatter, more modern feel on the fingers.
For its voice, the American Professional Classic Tele summons a revitalized take of Telecaster tone. New Coastline '63 Single-Coil Telecaster pickups land in neck and bridge positions for a vintage-inspired sound with twang and articulation at the forefront. What's more, this model welcomes a robust lineup of hardware specifications to back up its exciting tones.
A three-saddle vintage-style strings-through-body Tele bridge drops in with slotted brass barrel saddles at the base of the scale for a sturdy connection of string-to-body.
