Geelong wool is a premium, ultra-fine merino wool renowned for its exceptional softness, warmth, and luxurious feel—often compared to, and even rivaling, cashmere. Beyond softness, Geelong wool is naturally breathable, temperature-regulating, and moisture-wicking, making it comfortable to wear year-round. It also retains warmth without heaviness and offers excellent drape and resilience, making it ideal for high-quality knitwear and fine garments.


Hand Wash only

When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing.  To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle. Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.

Pilling

Clothing made from natural fibres can occasionally 'pill'. These little balls of fibre or 'pills' are created as the smaller fibres in the twist of yarn naturally shed with wear. This will lessen as you wash and wear your garment.
