This filter has (3) - 20"x 4.5" water filter cartridges that are designed for high-flow water filtration applications.

Unique, wide cartridges are capable of filtering enough water for a house, apartment or office. Great for well water.

• First Stage Filter is a 5 MICRON SEDIMENT FILTER 20"X 4.5"

Sediment cartridge filters are primarily used to remove silt, sand or other particulate matter from water.

• Second Stage Filter Cartridge is a multi-stage filter that consists of Bone Char, Activated Alumina &

KDF85 WATER FILTER/CARTRIDGE 20"X4.5"

• KDF 85 Media Removes or reduces iron and hydrogen sulfide from water supplies. Also controls scale, bacteria and algae. The KD85 Iron/Hydrogen Sulfide reduction filter contains a combination of KDF85 media and coconut shell activated carbon (GAC). KDF85 effectively reduces dissolved iron and hydrogen sulfide odor. Protecting your plumbing system including toilets,bath tubs,showers and appliances such as clothes washers and dishwashers from unsightly staining and odor. BoneChar & Activated Alumina reduces fluoride and some arsenic.

Stage 3 - Carbon Block Filter 5 Micron 20" x 4.5"

• Carbon Block strains out sediment, dirt, bacteria, microscopic worms, algae, asbestos and cryptosporidium. With water pressure, this compacted solid carbon block is designed to filter sub micron size particles. This micro straining of the water will provide clean and clear drinking water.

Note:

This system should be used where low to moderate ferrous (dissolved) iron or hydrogen sulfide contamination is known. This filter is most effective where iron and hydrogen sulfide levels are less than 5 ppm. Best removal rates are achieved where pH is between 6.5 and 8.5 and where water contains some dissolved oxygen.
