Lactal Balance Gel in the abdomen. The bacterial imbalance that causes foul-smelling discharge is due to an increased pH value in the vagina. This results in the good lactic acid bacteria decreasing in number. Lactal contains lactic acid, which lowers an elevated pH value in the vagina to a normal level. The balance is restored, and the bad smell disappears. Lactal also contains glycogen, which provides nourishment and facilitates the growth of new lactic acid bacteria. Lactal is thus double-acting. An environment with a normal pH value and availability of glycogen ensures the regrowth of the protective lactic acid bacteria. The natural balance is thus restored. Lactal has been used against imbalance in the genital area for 15 years. Several clinical studies have shown that Lactal is safe and effective in restoring and preserving the natural balance of the vagina.

For irritation and foul-smelling discharge, use 1 tube of Lactal per day at bedtime for 7 days. For preventive purposes: Use one tube of Lactal every three days at bedtime for 3 months. Twist off the cap and insert the entire tube neck into the vagina, pushing out the contents. Pull out the tube while maintaining pressure and discard it. It is advisable to use Lactal at bedtime as the gel may otherwise run out slightly. Feel free to use panty liners.
