The GMDSS was developed by the International Maritime Organization to improve radio communications and maritime distress and safety procedures. The Skylla TG charger has proven its reliability and that is why it was chosen to be associated with the GMDSS device.

These Skylla TG charger models feature lightweight and compact technology. The charging voltage can be precisely adapted to all types of batteries, even sealed batteries that require a well-defined charge to ensure a long service life.

The charge, controlled by a microprocessor, is carried out in several stages. This guarantees you a fast and efficient battery recharge. It is also possible to set the charging time manually, as with the "Intelligent Startup" function, which allows you to adapt the charging time if the battery is already charged.

Thanks to its very stable output voltage, the Skylla TG can be used as a DC power supply on its own.

The charger is equipped with 2 isolated outputs, one can make a normal charge and the other can make a "maintenance" charge with a voltage threshold and a current limit at 4 Amps.

All models are equipped with a temperature sensor for the batteries. This is to limit or even stop the charge if the temperature raises too high, thus preventing damage to the batteries. They are also equipped with a voltage sensor that directly measures the voltage at the battery terminals to take into account the loss of voltage in the charger cables.
