Cottage Pinks Dianthus Candy Floss
Dianthus 'Candy Floss' is a charming cottage pink perennial prized for its delicate, soft pink blooms and delightfully fragrant, clove-scented flowers. A reliable summer-flowering variety, this hardy dianthus produces an abundance of fringed petals that sit neatly above a compact mound of narrow, silvery blue-green foliage. This easy-to-grow perennial thrives in a sunny, well-drained position and is particularly well suited to chalky or slightly alkaline soils. Once established, it is drought tolerant and low maintenance, making it an excellent choice for gardeners of all experience levels. Regular deadheading will encourage a longer flowering display throughout the summer months.
