SS helmets continue to attract many collectors who desire to own one of the most heraldic pieces of militaria of any war or period. SS helmets are truly unique as they represent, better than any other single artifact, the Pan-European movement as dreamed of by Germany s WWII leadership. Because of their desirability, perhaps more than their rarity, collecting SS helmets remains a challenging and sometimes difficult hobby.
