Одного вечора 1967 року двадцятишестирічний Джон Доног’ю, відомий як Чік, відпочивав із друзями в нью-йоркському барі. Опинившись у Куїньоні, Чік розпочав пригоду, яка назавжди змінила його життя: одіссею, що поєднала кумедні ескапади й моторошні випробування.
