Neat Iota Xplorer Floorstanding Speakers

This exciting design uses the same basic configuration as the acclaimed Iota Alpha speaker, in an enlarged form. The top section is sealed off from the lower, and acts as a two-way infinite baffle loudspeaker. It houses Neat’s own P1-R3 170mm bass/midrange drive unit alongside an Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter in a horizontal array, as per the Iota and Iota Alpha models.

The AMT (Air Motion Transformer) tweeter delivers an uncompressed, musical performance and offers excellent integration with the Neat main drive unit.

In the lower ported section, the Xplorer incorporates two of Neat’s P1-R2 bass drivers, specifically designed for extended low-frequency performance. One driver is positioned on the bottom panel, facing the floor, while the other is placed directly above it in a sealed iso-baric configuration. This setup is optimised for low frequencies, acting as an integrated subwoofer system. The iso-baric loading technique enables deep, controlled bass from a compact enclosure.

Together, these components allow the Iota-Xplorer to deliver a dynamic and engaging musical experience. Like the Alpha, the Xplorer defies its compact size with a full-range, agile sound and a vast soundstage that extends far beyond the dimensions of the cabinet.

Finally Found a Pillow Worth Keeping

I genuinely feel like I’ve tried every pillow on the market. At one point, I thought Amazon was going to flag my account because I bought and returned so many pillows trying to find the right one. This is the only pillow that made the cut. The shredded memory foam filling makes a huge difference because the pillow is both soft and supportive, while still being adjustable to fit the way you sleep. A bit expensive

Waited to give a review on this one because I needed several nights before I had any idea if it was as good as everyone says. I've had a real problem finding pillows lately. Either they're too soft to provide support and I wake up with a stiff neck or they're too sturdy and I wake up with a stiff neck. Contour pillows have worked best for me, but they fall under the category of too sturdy. I also toss and turn too much at night, which means I always end up in an awkward position with contour pillows. So I took a chance on an obscenely expensive pillow, and yes, that is the reason for one less star. I'd happily pay $70 for a pillow I thought was amazing and comfortable and perfect, but this one wasn't quite it. It IS comfortable. I have slept on it for a month now without it making my neck stiff, so it does actually provide a good balance between soft and sturdy. They make it easy to stuff the pillow to your preferred fluffiness and even provide extra stuffing if you need it, which adds to the degree of comfort. While the pillow does provide good neck support, I toss and turn a bit trying to find a comfortable position when I first try to sleep. The stuffing within the pillow moves around at night, most notably shifting to the side and the pillow is notably flatter now than when I first purchased it. You can fluff it out, similarly to a down pillow, but it doesn't seem to retain its shape on its own. In some ways, that's good because what it does instead is try to retain a shape that fits you. So yes, this is a really good pillow. One of the better ones you can buy. But it's really expensive for a pillow.
